Was that overnight shaz1968 , or in a week ... ? Was there a particular reason?
Our bodies are really funny things, and there are different reasons for gaining weight. With me its salt causing water retention, others who exercise say their muscles retain water to recover (I think - I'm not an exerciser), it can be totm. BUT as this healthy eating is for life, whatever the reason, just plough on, don't give up, and you will be rewarded by a drop on the scales π

Well don't be too down about that; this happens from time to time. It might be worth reviewing exactly what you ate, what exercise you did and how much of it. Like Anon said, there are many reasons we can gain weight. I too swell up if I consume too much salt so my diet has minimum salt content in it. I also find if I don't drink enough water I get bloated as my body tries to retain as much fluid as possible.

Weight does fluctuate week by week, so don't let that 2 pound gain put you off, keep focusing on your eating plan and hopefully the trend overall will be in the right direction. Hopefully next week's result will be a good one.
