A bit off track

After eating out too much, and an awful hormonal bloating week, I've gained just over 2lbs, annoyed now.

Back on track now, hoping Lowcal and all the others I regularly get to chat to are doing well?

HI Diana,

Great to see you! I've missed you! I'm so glad you're back on track again now, as I know you've had an awful hormonal bloating week - that sounds horrible. Eating out too much is really challenging too.

I am doing ok, but I am heavier than I was a few weeks ago, thanks to my holiday and to the fact I was already in a 'holiday mood' prior to the holiday - so I'm still trying to work off that holiday excess and get back to the 12's. I have a few pounds still to shift to get back there.

I am not sure how I'll get on tomorrow at the weigh-in, but I am hopeful to see a loss on the scales. But I really don't know which way it will go.

Make sure you do pop into the Monday group weigh-in if you'd like us to record you weight change, Diana, as we don't copy and paste weights as a rule (unless there are extenuating circumstances), and you never know, your result might be better by tomorrow!!! :-)

You'll soon get those 2 pounds off again, I feel sure. Good luck and hope to chat again tomorrow in the weigh-in. :-)

I'm resigned it will be a gain, and no loss, I do think I'm changing shape too, fuller, than before, more hormones than weight I'm ok with that tho.

Good luck to you too, did you watch bbc post mortem obesity, do if you've not, brings the inside to us of our bodies, made me rethink !

I've not watched it yet, Diana, but I hope to watch it sometime this week, if I can. Many people have been mentioning it. Thanks for the reminder about it, I must see if it is on catch-up.

Good morning Diana

I too am feeling the after effects a short 'holiday at home' with hubby, too many meals out and coffee shop visits 😕 I'm also still recovering from a hysterectomy so unable to exercise apart from walking, and feeling tired and hormonal 😕 Hoping to get back on track eating wise today same as you, good luck to us both 😊
