I've been really busy and feeling shattered today. It's the 'weakest' I've been since I started a few weeks ago, in terms of wanting to stuff myself on cake, . However, I had been to the supermarket and was too tired too go out again looking for treats, AND this time I want to stay the distance and do the right thing by myself.. SO, I did allow myself to binge in a way, on a big plate of my fave Caprese salad: One avocado, be good to yourself reduced fat mozzarella, (the whole ball) sliced tomatoes and baby leaf spinach, also a generous chunk of baguette. I didn't weigh or measure, I had a good feed and I blooming well enjoyed it!! I finished up with my other fave fromage frais mixed with natural yoghurt. Even if it was a bit fatty, it was still better than a whole red velvet cake from tescos for my tea!!

Felt like binging today....
Hi Ruby, Well done you, for not giving in and going to get a "Red Velvet Cake" Sounds like you had a lovely tea, and even with your chunk of baguette I'm sure you haven't done much damage. I'm glad you enjoyed it & congratulations on your willpower. xxx
Hi Ruby8,
Your Caprese Salad sounds very tasty. I really like Avocado, and all those ingredients you mentioned. Yum!
Hope you're enjoying your week.

Wtg you, Ruby! If you're going to binge, then that's the way to do it!
Keep up the great work, you're doing brilliantly!
Thanks guys. I feel that I am entering the 'testing' time now, back to work and school routine (for my daughter) the tiredness creeps in, and the desire to pig out on the wrong stuff! But I want to be slimmer and healthier more than I want cake!! Having this forum in the background really helps, I can'talk' to you in my head even if I am not online! (Hope that's not too bonkers!!) xx
Now that is what I call "taking control" to curb those cravings in a sensible way. You are in it for the long haul! Well done...
