Seems to be really difficult at work today. Having resisted trifle and cake, I am craving crisps. I would have been ok, except I walked past someone's desk and they were eating crisps and the craving kicked in. I have eaten a really nice nectarine, but it's not the same. Hopefully it should pass in a while.

Crisps!
I have just been looking at your previous posts and your place of work is a really tricky place to be when you are eating healthily. I love crisps too but substitute the savoury kick for salt and vinegar rice cakes or popadoms which are fairly low too. If you like marmite then that can work spread thinly on a crackerbread. Failing that, I think you are going to have to declare a crisp, trifle and cake amnesty and only let them have treats on Fridays!! Xx
I occasionally do have a packet of crisps, they don't kill you! I have the Be Light ones 122 calories a bag, satisfies the craving. Remember, this is a change of eating habits for life and needs to be sustainable and if you deny yourself everything it won't be. Little treats in moderation are fine, just include in your calorie allowance. Your workplace sounds like there's a lot of temptation, so be prepared, take in your own treats - but low calorie ones!
I agree Caz if we didn't allow ourselves the odd treat and include it in our allowance we would think of it as a diet, and this isn't at all. I for one would have given up already if I had denied myself the odd treat now and again.
I did see a programme once about Pringles and the fact they can become addictive I don't know if anyone eagle has heard of this.
I know it may not work but do you take things into the office for snacks etc?
Maybe if you took a few healthy options the others there would love them and bring in healthy options too. I am only saying this because I have noticed how my husband is changing his eating habits uncounciously since watching me change mine even to the fact that he now pops into Aldi for one of their salad bowls for lunch.
I found that once I got my head stuck into my work again, the craving went off. I do bring in healthy stuff to eat during breaks - I love fruit, so that is good and also celery and carrot sticks. Good idea to bring healthy stuff in for my colleagues - I will try that next week.
