And what I love (even though I dont post much) is that people understand! Like sometimes its hard to talk to other people because they dont TRULY understand what you are going through, your struggle is not theirs. Like some dont even have a frame of reference for this kind of struggle. Some just say, well you just need to stop eating. What I love is that I can relate, empathize and be inspired. And I read a lot of the posts with a nod (even though I dont respond) because I totally get where that person is coming from.
Certain family members are what I call feeders, they know you are dieting but buy rubbish food items .they to are dieting and losing weight which makes it even more difficult.thanks for your reply.
My husband is one such person And I dont think he fully understands what I go through every saturday when he buys a 2l of coke and parks it in the fridge. Like a whole 2 litres!!!! Once I threatened to empty it into the sink. He stopped for about 2 weeks and the following week bought it again.
I have just learned to navigate the waters. He means well and supports me but I think he also feels like he shouldnt have to deny himself when hes not the one trying to lose weight.
Agree wholeheartedly. I love this forum - the support, guidance, encouragement and motivation is in abundance. And not necessarily about weight loss and exercise!
