Well Monday will be day 1 I've got my exercise plan ready but worry over my eating. I'm a really fussy eater with a sweet tooth so worried what I can eat to ketb the temptation. I really want to do this as I really don't like myself. I've taken a PC of myself to encourage what I don't want to be anymore, is this a good idea? Xx

Hello and welcome.
Like all cravings we all have different strategies for dealing with them 😕 I find having enough to eat, especially earlier in the day, really helps eliminate the mid afternoon, tiredness induced, sugar cravings 😊 I also gradually weaned myself off Diet Coke, and have found my taste buds have changed so anything slightly sweet tastes yummy, and very sugary things taste far too sweet. 😊
Good luck for Monday 😊
Hi Donnac58,
Each person deals with cravings/sweet tooth issues you will find your way.
For me it used to be a 1/2 packet of haribo marshmellows or 1/2 box maltesers a night. Slowly with training my brain to realise Cals/carbs etc. Plus I used to hide them well out of the way so it took at least 10mins to get to them by which time I didn't want them any more. Maltesers how ever do get in the trolley but afew 2 enough. Greek yogurt instead of muller etc lovely with berries and high in protein but has to be proper one I use total 0%fat.
If you have a phone capable of apps put in myfitnesspal works out each meal down to the micronutrients, counts steps and tells you when your over limit on certain section carbs, fat, protein. Best app on my phone. When shopping you can scan the bar code and it will tell you cals/carbs so on which helped me focus.
Good luck you can do it.

Have you heard of nice cream? Made of chopped frozen banana, protein powder, nuts chia seeds berries and blended with coconut water to the texture of ice cream. Delicious.
welcome Donnac58 and good luck! you are smart to have an exercise plan in place, now it is just the food. the best way to curb a sweet tooth is to stay off table sugar altogether, I have found. if you must have something sweet, I recommend an apple or a pear perhaps, it usually works for me. I find that the longer I am off sugar, the less I crave it. as far as the pic goes, I did it too, not to see what I don't want to be but to celebrate what I will be when I lose the weight. I have to say what made me decide to eat healthy ( I hate calling it a diet when it is really a life style change) is that I finally liked myself. I know I am obese and I am working on that but I am not just that. it is just a small part of who I am. who you are is a whole package of your personality.. what do you like to do? do you volunteer or would you like to volunteer for something? are you good with kids? do you have kids? these are things you have to see about yourself as well as your weight. when I decided that I was a funny, kind, helpful good friend to people, I realized I am not just a fat person. I am a good person that deserves to be happy just like everyone else. that is why I am here. encouragement to you!!!! We Can Do This!!!!
