Last week I saw that one of you had made herself a motivational board with (among other things) an illustration of her weight loss progress. Itsbab has two jars with coins symbolising the lost and the to-be-lost pounds.
It inspired me to do this, and now I can see how far I have already come. Nice.
Does each counter represent a kg or a pound? I know you give your weight in kgs when you weigh-in at the Monday weigh-in group, so I'm assuming it represents kgs?
Either way, it is a very motivational representation of your achievements to date. Great idea!
Very effective! Makes it look all the more of an achievement so far. Aiming towards intermediate goals works for motivation too - e.g. 5% of body weight lost, then 10%, and so on
