Its been a while since i was on here things have been rather stressful for me recently and i have been diagnosed with postnatal depression, I have been through a tough time which has lead me to food and its comforts and i have put on rather a lot since i was last here.
I have started to get life back on track now and i will be starting my weight loss journey again on monday (once my food shop has been delivered) so i would like to join the monday weigh in once again is that ok?
how do you all get motivation to do exercise and does anyone else in here have a little one that they have to juggle life with?

My children are all grown now, but I still remember the sheer exhaustion of having a small baby who disrupts your sleep and is constantly demanding your time and attention.
I found a lot of support from the other young mothers who I met at the hospital and clinics, and later at playgroup. You need supportive friends and your family too - Grandmothers and Aunties who will love to volunteer to babysit whilst you go swimming or just for a walk, to have a little "me time". Sometimes, you just need to have a soak in the bath and a sleep to get you back into a stronger state of mind.
Take advantage of any help offered, don't be afraid to ask either, and once you have a strong support network around you, you will find the energy and enthusiasm you need to exercise again.
Mine are all grown up too, but the thing that helped me when I had two babies 14 months apart was having contact and get togethers with other mums in the same boat - I joined the NCT and met some lovely ladies there and we got together and laughed a lot, which was very therapeutic when we were all struggling with breastfeeding and sleepless nights and not having a clue what to do with babies! Good luck in your journey - you will get lots of support on this forum too, lots of very kind and helpful people - so keep posting and let us know how you are getting on!
I had post natal depression, my little ones are 9 and 6 now. It will get easier! Fitting in exercise with work and kids is a nightmare, I have started a yoga class which is in the evening and they are in bed. Also doing 30 minute exercise classes on you tube. I really like Denise Austin but there are loads of different types, dance kick boxing. I have found that I can commit to 30 minutes every other day without it feeling like one more bloody thing todo!!!!
