it is raining hard again, so fed up I need the sunshine.
I am just about to start on the housework, instead of sitting here reading the paper.
Roxy my German Shepherd is looking at me as if to say take me out, but she will have to wait until the rains stops. I can't be doing with a soaking wet dog, so housework first dog walking later.
by the way, any ideas for lunches I seem to have the same thing every day (sandwiches) and I don't think the bread is good for my weight loss.

Grey and overcast here too but sunshine promised for later 😊 I've done my jobs and also put a big pan if vegetable soup on as I'm just back from holidays and want to be 100% on target this week 😊 Dog walking later for me 😊 Good luck to us both
Have you tried sandwich wraps instead of bread? In the Hairy Bikers dieters book 1 they have a sandwich using one slice of bread. I find it a struggle not to have bread too
Hi horrible here too in Nottinghamshire, I have got myself some of the whole meal Thins by Warburtons about 100 calories in each and I put a smither of low cal salad cream on and lots of salad makes a change from bread as sometimes that causes me stomach ache. I freeze them and take out one at a time as no one else likes them in our house. Don't bother with the newspaper I am sure they only manufacture them to depress us more. Enjoy the rest of your day. Heavy showers in Kent today, where or where is summer? Monday is ironing day for me so in some respects I'm pleased it's raining as it means I'm not missing anything (how selfish am I?). I usually have a small salad at lunch time avoiding bread as I like it too much so can't trust myself to a small slice.
I like leftovers for lunch. I'll make an extra portion of something when I make dinner to put in the fridge for the next day. Then it's already calculated out and I just have to throw it into my bag in the morning. I just can't get up early enough to make sandwiches and I won't make them the night before because I hate soggy bread!
