Losing the fat bit by bit.

Another 5lb of wobbly blubber has been sent packing and I am down to 205lb. Life is, as usual, busy in my little world. My nephews wedding a couple of weeks ago was lovely, so nice to see a young couple at the start of their own journey together. Work from tonight until Monday morning, then off for a few days away with my ex Mum in law ( birthday treat from myself - never really know what to get someone who has everything, so a few days away being pampered is always nice). I will be home again by next Friday and will be tackling a few things around the house that I have put off, and doing a bit of upcycling too ( I bought 2 tatty large wooden medicine cabinets for £3 each some time ago and have only upcycled one so far) There are a few advantages to getting stuck in to a bit of diy, one being you get so engrossed in what you are doing that any thought of food disappears, lol. Have a good weekend folks.

Hello Shellie, good to hear from you :) 5lbs is pretty respectable :) Hope all going okay x

I'm ok thanks Ruth, not as much as some to grumble about, lol. Lots to keep me busy, with little time to just chill and appreciate life, but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. Better than sitting idle, Billy No Mates style. I hope the world is treating you kindly hun. 😊

I can't imagine you'd even know how to sit idle. It sounds like your mini-break may be one of the few ways you'd manage to do it. Enjoy :) Things are going better with me, better job with fewer hours, more time to study, moved house to somewhere lovely, no longer overworked, cramped and stressed, generally feeling way better. It's good when things start to finally come together a bit. Take care, I look forward to another update from Shellie-land soon :)

Hi ShellieL,

Great to see you!!! Long time no see. Happy Birthday!!! I notice you mentioned you're having a Birthday treat from yourself with your ex Mum-in-law, and I hope you both really enjoy it.

Congratulations on losing another 5 pounds, that is fantastic!!!

Have a lovely weekend and enjoy your treat next week.

Lowcal :-)

Hi Lowcal, hope you are well. The birthday treat was to 'Mum2' from me, lol, not my birthday until November. Mum2 was 75 at the beginning of April and as we both like little trips away, I thought this would be the perfect present. We will have a few days shopping, a couple of pamper treatments and some lovely dining experiences ( hopefully). 😊

Well done on your weight loss. It's great fun doing upcycling. I'm trying to do it in my garden at the mo.
