My partner and I bought purselves an Inflateable tandem kayak which arrived last night. It comes in a canvas bag with handles so you can carry it around whilst deflated. I could barely lift the bag as it weighed 20kg. My partner then pointed out that, since beginning the My Weight Matters regime in July last year, I've lost 21kg. So that bag that I could hardly drag from one room to the next is the amount of excess weight I'd been carrying for years! What an incentive to continue. Can't wait to get out on the canal for a paddle this weekend.

I've Lost an Inflateable Tandem Kayak
Wow twiglet, what a fantastic reminder of how far you've come! It's a wonder you could even stand up before! I bet you feel as light as a feather now!
Keep up the great work, you've got a couple of paddles to lose now!
What a brilliant incentive and a great example to us onwards and downwards 😁👍👍👍👍
I love little stats like that - they visably mean something
Wow that's amazing 😀 I love to visualise the weight of something when I loose on the scales - I imagine a bag of sugar or a slab of butter every time....also makes me not want to eat it.... so win win 😀
Great visual!!! Hahaha I really thought you were putting out a "has anyone seen my kayak because I left it in the supermarket car park" post 😂😂
Well done on your weight loss so far, what a wonderful achievement!
Wow!!
Thought the same as previously mentioned..hahaha. well done. It really hits home when you put in perspective. I might do something similar to help me focus on what I have lost..motivating 😉
I agree with the other comments....visual comparisons are a great incentive. I keep a specimen vase on my kitchen windowsill and for each half lb I lose I pop a small pebble into it. I'm only 3 weeks into my latest weight loss regime and there are 12 pebbles in there already. I just hope the vase is big enough to take the amount of pebbles needed to reach my target
Hugs from me to you xx
Enjoy your paddle, what an achievement. Having an inflatable myself I know how heavy they are to carry so well done!
