thank you for responding, good luck to you to. i have printed week one from the NHS website and also signed up to mood gym to help get my mind in order. Im so unhappy with myself right now but feel a little more positive that i am making the first step to sorting myself out. Thanks again x

Good luck to you. I started with the attitude that if it did nothing more than stop the steady rise in my weight that would be a result. I check into the forums whenever I am feeling tempted to waiver from the plan...lots of supportive people.

I started yesterday so am totally new too. I've always been a bit scared of calorie counting but have downloaded the 12 week plan and am determined to stick with it. Good luck!

I started just over a week ago (trying to lose) and I've lost inches (not sure about weight having a scale issue!). The best advice is probably the NHS plan.

What I have done though, is look through the calorie counter, oh my, some things you will be surprised at how high they are in calories. Some you might be delighted in how low they are. That is what I found.

So, I've reduced carbs so far, increased steamed veggies, trying like heck to lay off sugar, cooking in 1 cal spray plus I am reading labels. Checking for fat, sugar and salt content. I think salt is also my biggest issue (water retention and subsequent bloaty fat tummy).

I am new on here today (I tried a while back but gave up). So good luck, one day at a time.:)
