Hi. I'm Kim. I managed to lose a lot of weight after my second son, I was about 10lbs from my goal weight. I applied for a new job last October and the long process got me so stressed I just ate everything and anything. This resulted in me putted 1 stone and a half back on. I'm training for that new job at the moment so I'm less active than I usually are. I have a big appetite so I eat big portions. I'm training for my first half marathon at the end of June so I'm running 4 times a week. However my weight seems to be going up not down which I'm finding upsetting because I'm trying really hard. I've ordered a new Garmin watch to monitor my activity and my running which will be arriving today. I've tried Slimming World in the past which I've lost weight on but it doesn't seem to be working for me at the moment.

Hi Kim,
Welcome to the Weight Loss NHS community forum. I hope you'll enjoy being part of this community - it's a friendly and supportive place. We have a Welcome Newbie post, which I'd like to give you the link to:
healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
Please do join in with anything in the forum that you like the look of. I would recommend having a look at the NHS 12 week plan as a potential structure - many of us follow those principles, and it is really good.
Maybe join us for the Monday group weigh-in sessions if you'd like the idea of a weekly weigh-in. It does help to keep on track and everyone is very supportive within that group.
Good luck, and wishing you a great week ahead.

Thanks Lowcal
I'm definitely up for the Monday weigh in session. Is this for a particular time or anytime throughout the day?
Hi Kim,
The Morning session is posted just before 6.30am and the Midday session is at midday - but you can literally come and post your weigh-in result at whatever time suits you best - i.e. some people pop in during the day and some after work in the evening.
Look forward to seeing you at some point tomorrow!
Lowcal
