HI I'm a full time mum & run a successful business from home. This is where the problem is, Cupboards full of kiddies goodies and working with small children too many tempting leftovers. I know once I get going I will be fine but it's the getting going which isn't happening. I used to love running but my joints are too painful with all the extra weight.

Hello Clairabella
It's so hard not to eat children's leftovers isn't it? But tell yourself you are worth more than that, you deserve to put good quality nutritious food into your body 😊 Good luck!
Try and buy biscuits and cakes that they like and that you don't. Have alternative snacks to hand - packs of dried fruit, Cup-a-soups, lots of hot drinks such as blackcurrant tea, black coffee, even a weak hot chocolate can satisfy the urge for something sweet. Freeze down any left over desserts. Feed any left over meat, cheese, bacon etc to the dog and put left over vegs into the blender for soup. Divide up easter chocs into little packages and ration them out daily, putting the remainder out of sight. A little planning goes a long way in this battle of ours. Time to get motivated - promise yourself a new fit you for your next birthday!
