I am feeling a bit down and worried about my weigh in tomorrow. I was absolutely spot on with my eating but am soooooo worried if I haven`t lost anything. Surely this is not something that I should be worrying about. Anyway, I will find out about 2.30pm....well its actually today now as we are after midnight! Deep breath and fingers crossed.

Good luck , I'm sure you'll be fine
Hi Ollio, try not to worry. If you have been following the plan then you will lose weight, even if some weeks it is not as much as you would have hoped for! John
As someone said to me, if you have stuck to plan you WILL lose weight! It may not show straightaway but you will 😊 As you get into the swing of it you will soon look forward to weigh in days, believe me! 😊
Remember to tell us!! 😊😊
Muhammad Ali is quoted as saying, “I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.’” The problem with weight loss is it is not a training exercise where you will be a champion at the end of it, although that is how many people approach it. No weight loss is about a change in your attitude toward your life and how you live it.
By changing what you eat and the exercise you do each day you will become a healthier person. Oh and as a by-product you will reach that target weight you are aiming for, but don’t make that your goal, make the new healthier you the goal; the weight will be reached. Definitely do not beat yourself up if you gain a little one week, or don’t lose something!
I am starting week 23 of my plan and I have lost over a stone and still have a few more pounds to go to get to my ideal weight, but I am still enjoying the new healthier me as I go along the journey. I will not go back to the old life-style. The plan is about the new you, not the old one and I am sure you already look and feel better, irrespective of what the scales say.
Good luck.
Ah the pre weigh in panic! I had to shift my weigh in to first thing in the morning, as I couldn't stop panic eating during the day before the evening one. It also took me months to stop panic eating the day before and then celebrating or consoling myself with food, after the weigh in. All behaviour which stopped me from losing weight until I recognised it, and reprogrammed myself not to do it. And the reprogramming doesn't always work! I also do daft things like wear light clothes to weigh. I have been known to weigh clothes on the kitchen scales to see if they are heavier or lighter than the ones I usually wear! So there is at least one person out here who is worse than you. It doesn't matter if you panic, as long as you do weigh. Losing a lot of weight (in my case 5 stone) takes quite a while. Or even longer than a while if you make the number of mistakes I did. But it is a progression, not a single fix action. We have to unlearn all our behavioural mistakes in eating and exercising. And then we have to replace them with good habits. It all takes time. As long as you keep moving in the right direction, you will get to your destination. Hope your weigh in was a lovely surprise.
