Happy Travels everyone
today I've been slacking 10827 steps for me
5.1k yesterday and 8.5 today. Two runs of 4+kms so I feel like I've earned my rest day tomorrow - hope the scales will be kind too...
Ok - I'm getting my head back in the right place and think I need to post yesterday kms as well as today.
Yesterday (Sat)
Me - 5.7k walk and 4.5k run = 10.2k
Mr L - 5.5k run (he valiantly ran further than me to get the car when my leg gave up and I started hobbling )
Today (Sun)
Me - 4.7k walk
Mr L - 4.7k walk
You've both had a great weekend Lucca, except for the leg. I hope it's not something serious and that it'll sort itself out soon. Might be wise not to run for a bit
Not sure what it is - think I've just pulled a muscle a bit doing some strength exercises a week or so ago. Walking is generally fine, but as soon as I start to run any distance it hurts - I shouldn't have done such a long run on it on Thursday, but it was only a mild niggle at that point...
I deliberately left my running stuff in the washing machine and didn't hang it out to dry to I couldn't use it this morning !!
After yesterday's injury well done on today's walking km. š
Thanks asics. Problem is that it lulls me into a false sense of security because it doesn't hurt when I walk. I think it's recovered and try and run again - and then the pain kicks in again after a couple of kms
OMG Liz, I wonder what Saga's going to make of this little miracle?! You are amazing!!
A pottering day so 5678 steps.
Will be thinking of you tomorrow FizzyLiz when little Miss Fizz comes to stay. Enjoy your evening with Mr Fizz, happy times ahead X
Another lovely sunny day today, it really has the feel good factor after the horrible wet spell we had. Two lovely walks with the Bu and hubby and a lazy evening planned so I'll clock my steps at 13336, 9.2 kms.
Hoping for a small weight loss tomorrow. Have a happy Sunday evening folks āŗļø
Them knee shorts look a bit tight !! š
Only 2.5 km today but it's been a fabulous day.
An old school friend called and it's been nearly 20 years since we last saw each other !!! We've laughed, cried and shared so much it was like those years between have never happened .
Friendship is a wonderful thing, I feel very blessed.
š
Oh what a wonderful day for you Flossie! How fantastic to be able to pick things up like that with an old friend
Never mind about the K's, as you say, friendship is far more important
Glad you've had a lovely day flossie and feeling brighter. How is the doggie, better?
I'm off now to check those knee shorts š
Hi Bu-dog,
We are back at vets today, he's still struggling so keep fingers crossed !
š
Howdy y'all,
Logging for both yesterday and today:

It's been cold - I'm hoping that means more calories are used up!

Sunday 3.5km (Saturday 2.8)
feeling much better.
will be back in gym tomorrow!
Yippee! (That is so weird; I cannot believe I really wrote (and meant!) that!)!)!
Hi all. Today has not been great for me as my auntie who being 17 years older than my mum, was more like my grandma and confidante of my early teens passed away yesterday evening. I have done 6.5k a few steps shopping and the rest jogging on my trampette. Ed kept his end up and went for a bike ride into the dales and back chalking up 96.5k on the ride and another 6.3k combined steps and dog walking so 102.8 k for him
Liz I bet you're so excited for tomorrow! X
Oh Kate, I'm so sorry for your loss. You must feel devastated. I can't believe you've even been able to clock up a single K, let alone 6.5!
I looked at Ed's number and thought I'd misread it! I want to do my usual OTT reaction to such a fantastic total, but fear it may be less than appropriate, so I may save it for a time when you're not feeling so sad. I'll just say well done Ed, you are magnificent and a superstar K Kicker!
Thanks moreless, to be honest we have been praying she would give in for weeks as she had lung cancer but she was tough! So although I am devastated I am finding myself able to look back and laugh at some of the things she used to say - rather than cry as much as I did through her suffering - if that makes sense... X
That makes perfect sense Kate, nobody wants to see a loved one suffer. Happy memories are far better than miserable existence.
26.88kms for me consisting of14 mile run and General kms I am shattered and worried I won't make the distance in April, feeling confident about the Stafford half though 20th March 3 days before my birthday yawns- I registered a wedding after my run- working on auto pilot....
I'm sure you'll manage the distance Prin, because you'll be running on adrenaline. It's amazing what we're capable of when we gear ourselves up psychologically and the body kicks in with the physical boost.
The half will be a walk in the park! You're way beyond the capabilities required for that!
Hmm........sounds like you're needing some time management
Terrific K's by the way!
Hi Prin - what were your stats for Monday?
3.21 km for Sat and 2.94 for today
Well thank goodness we have room on our train!
Ok so playing catch up again, apologies!
Friday 6km
Saturday 5.1km
Sunday 10km.
Happy to put my feet up! Now boys...show me some of those football moves...
12kms today.
Had a really productive day.
Evening fellow travellers
New York! sounds great wish we were actually there!, my colleague is there on her jollies at the moment having just posted a picture of the view from the Rockefeller Centre!
11.2 km on the exercise bike today and a lot of cleaning and housework which included a lot of walking up and downstairs (though I haven't measured the distance I've moved today).
Just catching up on the last couple of episodes of Mr Selfridge before bed.
Nic š
Hi. Just lk today as having a lazy Sunday. Just housework and catching up on the washing and ironing. Has to be done! Excited for Lizzy and family tomorrow
Lots of k's today but in the car not on foot returning Miss Mix to Uni so only 3.89 for me and 2.72 for Mr Mix. Fantastic day for you guys tomorrow, wishing you all the happiness to the family Fizz x
I hope Miss Mix got away with no problems. I'm surprised the two of you were able to clock up as many K's as you did
3.6/kms walking 10.2 cycling for Sunday
9.6kms on Sunday for me š
Brilliant post Liz made me smile at 7:26am so did the job.
Yesterday -me 17.85km.
Have a great week everyone

Weds 24 - 6.47 kns
Thurs 25 - 7.34 kms
Not entered by me -

Sun 28 - 2.8 kms
Beryl
Morning all,
lizzy good luck with your handover today x
So sunday i did 2.75km walking and 10.5km cycling so 13.25km in total.
Morning Everyone
My stats for the weekend are:
Friday - 6.11 km
Saturday - 6.3 km
Sunday - 5.97 km
Unfortunately, my fitbit ran completely out of charge on Sunday so I think the recorded km for Sunday is a little on the low side.
I'm back at work today and have reliable computer/internet access so hopefully I will get chance to have a quick catch up with how our travels are going.
Have a good Monday everyone.
21048 steps or 15.42k, plus 27.2k cycling one of the local trails. It might have been further but I switched my watch off (oops) so I've put the distance I definitely covered. So total: 32.62k. Now enjoying rest day Monday!!
Well done Concerned
