So I weighed in on my bathroom scales 10 stone,
then went to my gym session and part of the plan is to be weighed (gulp) and I was 9.10lbs.....
Do you think it's best not to go by the scales ? Just clothes. ?

I weigh in at gym, wearing the same clothes, that way its consistent
It doesnt matter where as long as we weigh same time same place same clothes. You know there are so many reasons anywat that our weight fluctuates by 1-3 pounds a day ....nothing to do with actual body fat. ... so your best bet might be to ditch the home scales, measure your waist and monitor inches not pounds ! But i think you already know this .....😉
I tend to go by both, but to keep it consistent.
Clothes sizes can be really misleading too.
If your home scales are out, in terms of weight loss, they should still show the same amount of weight loss as your gym ones.
However the gym scales are likely to be more accurate.
The scales at the gym are more likely to be on a hard floor. The scales in your bathroom could be affected by the type of flooring (wooden floors) Home scales do vary when they are moved around different types.
I don't weigh myself very often; instead I always try on a skirt or trousers and if they are nice and loose then it means I am heading in the right direction!!! The body varies too much so I think using your clothes is a better guide.
