Well done on making your pledge!

Be mindful today, watch out for automatic hand movement towards such things!

If you are tempted think... nah! It's just for today.

Good luck my friend! Look forward to the update. 😊

To give you some support, my pledge today is to only eat food in it's natural state. ( i.e. fruit, veg and protein. Today i will eat my carbs from veg. )

Thanks again. Your support is greatly appreciated. I am sure if I can do it you can too. Its only a day after all!! Let me know how you get on.

I will pledge the same, I ve got that 'treat feeling' so need to kick it into touch🤔

Catch you later

😇

Great idea, Corrine - I'm going to do the same, inspired by your post - after all, its only one day! :)

So, so far s! o good. I had a prawn and mixed pepper stir fry on a bed of rocket. Despite my family eating crusty rolls with ham and cheese. Well... mine looked far more colourful!

They tucked into (school) homemade cookies for a pud and I had a tiny handful of pineapple.

Feelin proud and hoping this doesn't come before a fall! 😊

Hi Asics

Well done and keep up the good work. Think how bad you'd be feeling now if you'd had cookies as well.

I'm sure we're going to meet our goals today and also sure that pride doesn't always come before a fall!

Well done - keep it going your half way to your goal.

Hi Corrine,

It's nearly 9.45pm and I've done it, I'm sitting with a tiny rum and Diet Coke ( all counted!! ) and can truly say I have kept the pledge! 😃 will be honest I wobbled a bit in the pound shop where they had fox's choccy biscuits 2 packs for a £1 but I resisted !!

Thank you so much for your post it got through my day 😃. When i start thinking 'treats' at the start of the day you can bet your bottom dollar it's going to be a bad day but not today!!

Hope you've had a successful day

😇

Hi flossie358

I'm really pleased you've got through the day and kept your pledge. The rum and coke sounds nice and deserved. Well done for resisting those Fox's biscuits as they are so nice.

I've already written a post about how I got on but not sure where its showing.

I have also kept to my pledge and had just one rocky moment when nearly had a yoghurt with chocolate bits in it. Apart from that it hasn't been too bad. I do think taking one day at a time is the way forward and will decide tonight what I am going to do tomorrow.

All the best for tomorrow

Hi Corrine,

So happy we both did good😃 The power of just stating our intention is amazing !!

The yogurt sounds a good choice and if it hits the spot great 😃

Have another fab day

😇

Hi Flossie

If we've done it once we can do it again!

One day at a time.

All the best for today

Thanks for the idea, Corinne, I got through the day without any chocolate and when I felt 'nibbly' I ate a banana, and later on a few unsalted nuts, instead of reaching for the Peanut M & Ms, so feeling good! :) I like the idea of doing a day at a time with different targets or challenges like no chocolate.

Hi Nelliecat4

Why don't you join me in making a pledge tomorrow on this site and well done in resisting the M & Ms!

Okay, sounds good - what pledge are you doing to do? I might do another day of no chocolate or sweets tomorrow, now I know I can do it! :)

My pledge is the same as today and yesterday. That is to eat no chocolate, sweets, crisps or butter for another day. Hopefully the more I do it the more it will stick.

Good plan! I have already given up crisps since Christmas, replacing them with nuts which I love. But the chocolate still calls to me so I am going to work on that tomorrow again - I didn't miss it yesterday and haven't actually eaten any today either so maybe I am not such a chocoholic after all! Good luck with your goal, Corinne and look forward to hearing how you do tomorrow.
