The only permanent solution is not to go on a ‘diet’ but to change your eating habits for good. The NHS 12 Week plan encourages healthy eating, with a generous calorie allowance for sustainable weight loss 😊

Think positive, not easy on a cold Monday in February. Try to think of is as a healthy eating plan not a reducing diet, I know it feels like the same thing but you need to consider looking after your body, only one you have and the only one you are going to get. You don’t want to fall into the hands of the medical profession do you!!! Sorry if I sound a bit po faced and jaundiced but had to get up at 5 to take my daughter to work and the coffee is only just kicking in. Good luck today and I am sure you will make it past Thursday. Plenty of support here. 😄

Hey you can do this with all the support here just keep looking at all the posts and get involved as much as you can. Most people here want this to become their way of keeping healthy. I had a bit of a kick from my GP but it got me looking for alternatives to slimming clubs and I have done ok so far with calorie counting. Edging closer to losing 1 1/2 stone since middle of September goal for me is a healthy bmi

@Jancol61 if you pretend that everyday is a Monday and a new diet you might be able to change that mindset. Just ‘diet’ one day at a time. It’s something that was suggested to me at the weekend so I’m giving it a go too. X
