I started NHS 1400cal diet mid-August and it's been the simplest and most sensible diet I have ever done. I am 5ft 8inches tall and I weighed 13st at start. My goal was to get to 10st 5pounds by Christmas. Just weighed myself and I can't believe I have actually done it! Am exactly 10st 5 pounds and my BMI is 22.02...am sooo chuffed! Huge thanks to all you supportive people on this site x

Thanks heaps - am hopeful I will be able to maintain it now as the food is so lovely and varied and fortunately I am able to incorporate the exercise in my job (I do support work incl. taking people swimming, walking etc.)
So now the challenge - which I think is quite a bit easier, to be honest - is to just make sure you DON'T go back to your 'old' eating / activity habits that caused you to be overweight and that you do keep on with your new ways which will keep you at that sort of body weight.
And why not just treat yourself to a moment to be smug about it.
You did it - and doesn't it feel good!
Good luck with your maintenance regime and enjoy (moderately) your party.
That's certainly inspired me, I've been in plateau for a couple of weeks now. So if I can just hold it here until after Xmas can try to lose some more in the New Year. Well done you !!! Enjoy!
