I have completed my first week and have managed reasonably well. I did find weighing foods and working out calories a bit tiresome but I'm getting used to doing it now so it's not so bad!
My first weeks weight loss was 0.5 kg; from 72.7 down to 72.2 and an inch off my waist line so pretty pleased with my self.
I was busy with work last week so my activity level was higher than normal and I think that helped.
I struggle with drinking more water as I find tap water on it's own so uninspiring! I do drink squash which doesn't have a high calorific value and I found I drink more if I drink through a straw!! Have tried some vegetable and fruit juices this week, home made so no added nasties and they are quite nice if you've got the time to make them!!
Anyway, a combination of less food and more activity seems to working but I constantly remind myself that changes need to be made slowly. Baby steps all the way because you can't change unhelpful habits overnight.
