Can't shift from 10st10, I know by Friday I will be 10st8 then over weekend back on by Monday. Fed up of feeling stuck and not getting any where... Kick up arse didn't work, smaller portions this week. X

Why does it have to go on Monday, over eating at the weekend? Not a good idea, find out the causes/whys and tackle stuff.

Thats what I'd been feeling for the last year. Took the bull by horn and and pledged to lose it. First weigh in today and small loss, but a loss. Good luck and hang in there :) Bethkyr

Can you find yourself some acceptable treats? It is obvious that it's the weekend that's tripping you up. Are you recording what you are eating and drinking on Fri night, Sat and Sun? If you can do that you might find ways of dodging this bullet. There might well be some clever swops that can make you feel just as indulgent as it is the weekend, but they aren't. Eg swop drinks. If it's normally wine or beer/cider/lager, consider swopping to a pub single measure of a spirit with your favourite diet mixer. If you want something sweet, sometimes a really sweet but not usually bought fruit may do the trick 5 times out of 6. Consider trying grapes; mango or persimmon for this. They all work for me. If it's the pizza and takeaways that are the struggle, can you make your own lower kcal version? I love a wrap with a pizza topping. If the wrap is too thin for your pizza satisfaction, try a pitta bread one. For takeaways one from the chiller or freezer sections of the supermarket will nearly always be lower than the takeaway one. And it comes with the benefit of the nutritional information on the side. I am sure you will or may already have lots of tricks of your own, to fool yourself into feeling that you can join in without paying the penalty. I used to celebrate or commiserate with myself on the evening of the day I weighed every week and couldn't understand why perfect me wasn't losing. Because, of course, I never recorded what I had that night. It was out of sight: out of mind for me. Unfortunately it wasn't out of the scales! Good luck with sorting your mystery out. And with having a better loss when you have.
