... in fact about three months! I've been unwell and spent some time in hospital, those of you who've been part of this community for awhile might remember that I'm on the waiting list for a kidney transplant. I should begin dialysis very soon but there has been a bit of a delay because the fistula they created in my wrist (for the dialysis) has developed some problems. Anyhow I'm feeling okayish this week and have cut my working week down to four days for awhile so I'm ready to get back into the weight loss efforts. Good news is I haven't gained any weight whilst I've been feeling rough.
Well here goes back to the calorie counting. Lovely vegetable tagine tonight!

Good to have you back with us my dear. Sorry to hear about the difficult time you've had, hopefully 2016 will see your health improve and everything (except your weight) will be on the up!
Take very good care of yourself and be mindful of your health whilst dieting, I know you don't need the likes of me to remind you of that though!
Hey Linggirl great to see you back on here, didn't realise it's been 3 months. Hope you get past the current hurdles asap with getting dialysis and the fistula sorted. And hope the long term solution of kidney transplant isn't too far off too. You must be very determined to carry on as normally as possible, as 4 days a week sounds like a lot considering the tiredness you must be feeling. But I'm sure you'll make it work! I look forward to hearing more. Veg tagine sounds delish. I'm on my way to my favourite fruit n veg shop right now, wondering what to get, something different and a bit weird perhaps...
Hi linggirl and welcome back good to hear you are feeling okayish and ready to get back on your journey with us here and well done on maintaining your weight this whole time
