Friday weigh in

Happy new year to everyone! I have been dreading this weigh in but here goes... pre Xmas weight 12.5st, today 12.10st. It has been the usual over indulgence so I knew it would be a gain. Started back on Monday with the healthy eating and feeling much better already. Have a goal of losing as much as I can as I'm off skiing in mid Feb and don't want to be carrying lots of weight on those slopes. I hope everyone else's week is going well ☺

Hi Juliet,

Great to catch up, don't worry re your gain, mine was 7Ib !! Once you are back in the groove it will be all downhill, especially having your skiing trip to look forward to( I've never been skiing)😃

Did Santa bring you your coat ???

Have a fab week

Hi Flossie nice to be in touch with you too. It's inevitable we would gain over Xmas and I gained 5 pounds last year so glad it wasn't any more. Didn't get coat from Santa, think I'll have to lose at least a stone until he brings that pressie for me! Hope all well with your weight loss, 7 pounds isn't too bad either ☺

Hi Juliet,

Great to see you again, and Happy New Year!

I think you've not done too badly at all, as gaining 5 pounds over Christmas should soon be off again once you're back to your normal routine. I gained about half a stone over the entire period.

Great to hear you're feeling much better already, since re-starting your healthy eating from Monday.

Great that you have your skiing holiday to look forward to in mid Feb, and you've got plenty of time between now and then to get off some pounds.

Have a great weekend and a great week ahead.

Hi Lowcal thanks for your reply. I think it is inevitable that most of us have gained over Xmas but Jan is a time to get back to it so hey ho. I found I felt guilty alot which was annoying but I guess good as it probably stopped me really over indulging. Anyhow will look out for you on Monday. Have a good weekend ☺

Hi juliet444, good to have you back with us and happy new year :-) Christmas is one of those times of the year where most of us had gained weight so not to worry too much as it will soon come off especially as your back in the groove of eating healthy. I gained over Christmas as well, I have lost it all now plus a little extra so am happy that I am back in the swing of things. Wishing you a successful start to the new year and achieving all your goals in 2016

Have a great week :-)
