I agree, when i started being more mindful of eating healthily I decided to spend just 5 mins a day moisturizing my body, I felt I had almost become disconnected from it as I didn't like how it looked. I have lost 1 and a half stones and now in healthy weight range and my skin is so much better and I have reconnected with myself and although far from perfect I am much more happy with my body image.
That's a nice thought For me though, health and happiness is a reward in itself. Give a person relief from back pain,knee pain, arthritis and mobility, and the joy that brings is reward enough.
I suppose we're all different, but eating well should not require reward. I agree though, that a person should allow themselves a little pampering pleasure from time to time.
