Well I may as well start 2016, as I mean to go on.
With honest and humility.
84.1 kg
41.8% fat
Obese.
And only managed 2621 steps.
Feel shame, but with a sprinkle of hope and determination.
Will try harder tomorrow.

Don't feel shame Dreamer, feel pride! What you've done has taken a tremendous amount of guts and determination and in my book deserves applause.
You could have been 125Kgs, like I was when I started.
You could have had a BMI of 44, like I did when I started.
You could have been morbidly obese, like I was when I started.
You aren't, you've stopped the rot before getting to that stage, so well done you!
You could also have stayed in your bed, but you didn't, you walked 2,621 steps, that's nearly 2 kilometres. You could join us on our trip Around the World and be a valuable asset
Every day, things will improve and we're all here to help you
Thank you.
I don't really understand the 'around the world' thing though, which is why I haven't signed up.
I also don't want to join something where I might let the team down if I don't pull my weight.
I really have only just started this, and can't guarantee anything at the moment. I may have given up by next week!!
Now here's the thing, the only person you could let down is yourself. The whole purpose of the Around the World challenge, is to motivate people. It just has the effect of getting you out for a walk, when if left to your own devices, you'd just have curled up on the couch
You won't have given up by next week, because we're all here to encourage you to keep going and prove to yourself that you can do it.
When I first started, I joined everything and I'm soooooo glad I did, because I'm now into my 17th week and have almost lost 3 stone! I didn't think I could do it either
Tell me you're going to be in 100% and I'll try and explain the Around the World challenge
Hello,
Happy New Year and to a healthier you!
Try not too be too hard on yourself.
Just by joining this forum and posting shows that you are ready for change.
There will be times that are tough, when you think you could of done better but I'm sure there will be more moments of joy, happiness and achievement. Its a journey not a race. You can do this if you really want to. Good luck
You're still lapping everyone who's on the couch! all the best. New to this myself so want to lose weight and get fitter. Going to be in it for the long ride.
