My advice is to be realistic. Pick a long term goal. Say by Christmas you promise yourself that you will be where you want to be. 80% Healthy food and 20% exercise. Stop eating and snacking in the evenings. Just be mindful of what your eating and stay away from sweet treats.

Sounds really stupid but the formula is ridiculously easy. Eat less and Exercise more and your weight will melt away. There are no short cuts. Slow and steady hard work.

You can do it.

Thank you 80 20 is good rule - don’t really want the wine anymore just a bad habit that is hard to break

Instead of buying the wine why not put the money you would spend in a jar and save it for some new clothes or a non food treat when you have lost some weight. Have a good week.

Hi there - I am the same age. You got some good answers already but for me the real answer is cut down on sugar followed closely by cutting out crap such as crisps. Then pick up on the exercise. If you do little exercise now then start off with walking and going up and down stairs. Then you can jack it up a bit. I joined a gym and am a bit addicted but I find it a great way to wind down. Join one of the online weigh in sessions to keep you motivated as well. Good luck!

Where can I find online way in ?
