Picky eater
With my main meals I've been eating the 'microwave in a bag' frozen vegetable mixes that you get from supermarkets. You can get mixes such as carrots, sweetcorn and broccoli; or peas, sweetcorn and carrot; or peas, cauliflower and carrots; or cauliflower, broccoli and sweetcorn. Each microwave bag is worth two a day or your five a day of vegetables.
Thank you I might give them a try with some boil in the bag fish
Before I switched to the microwave vegetable bags I was having the supermarket packets of mixed salad with my main meals, however I stopped buying them when I found out that the supermarket packets of salad contain a lot of chemical preservatives to give a the salad a fresh appearance.
Salad does not have to include lettuce and it's worth Googling salad recipes.

This type of salad can easily be put together at a college or office desk with the ingredients readily available at the local supermarket.
I hop this is of use
Maybe Lshaw, now that you're overhauling the way that you eat, it's also time for an overhaul of the way you view food too.
How about challenging yourself to try something new/different every day, or every week? You might surprise yourself and find some things that you really enjoy
Have fun
