Wow weee that looks fabulous ShellieL I'm in awe of your talent :-)

in reply totrafford1

trafford these really take no talent, lol, all ingredients shop bought. I made these in the summer for an impromptu get together.😊

it looks beautiful, well presented and I'm sure is super delicious plus low in calories which is the biggest bonus. Wish you were over at mine to cook up some of these beauties you have posted today. Just delightful :-)

Hi Shellie,

I would love that dessert - it looks so delicious and really well presented too.

Yum!

Lowcal :-)

in reply toZest

No good for diabetics though as obviously loaded with sugar. As a dessert to not blow the calorie bank at a dinner party etc... ok. 😊

Wow it looks delicious and fabulous! I first saw meringues I thought it is illegal but I guess sometimes we are allowed to cheat. Now my son wants me to bake meringues. You are causing trouble! :)

in reply tobakersdozen

Homemade meringues are superb, tint half the mix with a natural food colour then spoon into a piping bag spoon at a time plain then coloured. They come out beautiful, lovely for foodie gifts. 😊

OMG Shellie, what are you doing to us??!! :o

PS Get off the chandelier! ;)

in reply tomoreless

I'm off, i'm off, lol. If you make a really healthy starter ( veggie soup?) and a scrummy main ( like cod provencal), then these meringues for dessert, then all 3 courses would come in about 400kcals. That includes a steamed veggies to go with the mains. See, I'm being quite saintly really. 😊

You've got it all worked out too, you must be a saint ;)

Unfortunately, I'm addicted to sugar, so wouldn't be able to stop at one! :D

Wow! I think I must have put on half a stone just looking at it, and it's not even calorific. It looks scrummy. I think we should all go to Shellie's house for Christmas dinner! :-D

in reply toWeightWarrior

Plenty of room, I will be in Manchester though so you'd be cooking your own dinner, lol. x

PS...I think the upside down photos are great. Maybe they'll encourage everyone to take up yoga especially so that they can do a headstand to look at them!

My only add would be use Yeo valley Creme friache, it seems creamier if you can, must be the organic bit

in reply toDiana

Yeo valley is a really nice brand for yoghurts too. I had Tesco creme fraiche in when I knocked these up in the summer, so just used that. 😊

I don't know whether it's just me Sueper, but I can't get your new pic. I just have a little black square with a white cross in it. I've seen what it's supposed to be on your profile page.

Sorry to hijack your thread Shellie :)

It has been weird lately - it was just a green blob yesterday but looks fine my end now. I'll have to tinker a bit.

Thanks for letting me know :)

No probs, it's not good to identify you with a cross :)

in reply tomoreless

Hijack away hun, lol. Sueper is coming up as a box with a blue question mark on my feed too. 😊

How strange that we can see different things :)

Ah Shellie,

It looks fab, I've written it in my book and it's on the menu for Xmas day, I'm going to add some raspberries, not sure if all like strawberries.

Thank you so much xxx

Not sure I'll give you the credit though 😈 !! Lol

😇

in reply to

Swap the white choc drops for a sprig or two of fresh mint leaves for added colour ( and less cals), your choice - re-invent it 😊 Flossie, you will have put it together so you deserve the credit 😊
