Last two weeks have been an endless crap for we. Now life seems to be getting better slowly, but the stress was so strong, that now I suffer some physical heath problems. Anyway I must finally stop whining and get going.
As you may guess, my Week 3 was an epic failure. My diet became more like a trash, I even ate potato chips and hamburger, that I haven't tasted for more than 4 years!
As a result, now I weight as in the beginning of the NHS 12-week program, I lost all my progress.
The question is for those of you who experienced a big failure during the program: once you got over, did you continue or you began all from the start?
In other words, should the coming week be Week 4 or Week 1?
If I begin Week 4, it's mentally easier, that a quater of the way is behind, but those 3 weeks have zero result in total.

Just pick yourself up from where you left off and carry on. There is nothing you can do about the few days that went wrong. Concentrate on the future days which you can get tight. Xx
I agree with Aqua, never look back, always look forward with renewed energy and determination. You never know, you could lose 4lbs and be right back on track
Good for you for getting back on the wagon! You can do it and we can help
When the chips are down we have to pick ourselves back up no matter what it takes.
We are all individuals and our mind works in different ways, it can work against us most of the time, but taking control and staying strong and in control always works for me. I used to give up all the time back in the day and I have been through a lot in my life. We have to learn to control the mind and not let it control us. You have made the first step in seeking advice from your fellow community which is a great start. Start as you mean to go on I say. If your on week 4 keep going and don't stop.
Believe in yourself and your abilities to carry on as this will make you stronger and build you up. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger or so they say
Believe me when I say we all possess the strength to overcome any situation and lead by example. Now it's your turn.
I would call it week 4 but it doesn't really matter. The main thing is not to feel like you've failed. This plan is teaching us a different lifestyle and we will have ups and downs. I always gave up when I'd 'failed' and approached life like snakes and ladders - up a ladder great then down a massive snake to the beginning. I did it so many times I always gave up. But this time I think differently. Life goes up and down and some weeks are great some not so great. I plan to keep renewing the 12 weeks because a food diary really works for me. So forget failure and concentrate on what you can do today to stay on track. Good luck.
I have been told in the past to think of a diet/healthy eating plan as walking on a log, sometimes you'll slip off, but the important thing to remember is to get back on the log and start rolling again...... You may have slipped off your plan, but you can get back on track. I don't know whether you would find it easier to persuade yourself that you're on week 4 or 1 - BUT you CAN do it and be the weight and size you want to be. As you can tell, there is lots of support for all of us that want to lose weight, whether it's for looks or health reasons, so remember you aren't alone in this struggle (I think I've given up for a while, just trying to stay away from crisps and nibbles!)
