I want to start exercising again, especially as the free gym sessions are after work, but I don't finish till 7 and have a very early start. I try to sleep 8 hours but still feel tired, would exercising more help me feel more awake?

Yes you have more energy and sleep better. I find early mornings best for me otherwise I put it off throughout the day.

Try 10 mins just to get started and then build up. Once you feel the benefits you will want to do more. You can do 10 mins at home/ walking if you feel daft going to the gym for that amount of time. Good luck
