Good evening! It is Sunday 8th November, I am 49 years old, 14st 8lbs, obese and miserable with it... Day one is tomorrow, I have enrolled to this wonderful site, filled my kitchen with fresh fruit and veg...and couse cous! I have the Weight Watchers old points plan to start off with in order to control my portion sizes... Phew!
I should be a maximum of 9st 11lbs for my height.. 5ft 2ins...which makes sense, therefore I have about 5 stone to lose...
I also have a programme worked out for me by a personal trainer, gym on Tuesday morning after school drop off (no car tomorrow).
What can possible go wrong?

Best Wishes, you can do it. There are so many helpful people on this site with loads of encouragement.
I am not very good at the moment, a bit under the weather, but hopefully will get back down to it soon . I need to lose two stone, but I am determined to get down to it.
Hi Lizzy, hope you feel more like you soon. I want to drop a stone and it isn,t happening yet but we crack on.
I am two months into the same journey. Good news I am still alive and I am loosing weight. I try to eat 6 times a day. It makes the small size of meals seem more acceptable (head stuff). It is a good idea to sign up here. Everyone is nice and you will get support.
If you're interested, Lowcal runs an extremely popular group weigh-in on a Monday, where we gather to swap notes on how our weeks have gone, It's amazingly motivating and helps to keep us accountable. You would be more than welcome.
Whatever you decide, I wish you all good luck with your weight loss journey
It is 4pm Sunday 8th November and I am on holiday in Florida from the Uk. I have just read your post. I just checked my BMI to be informed that I am Obese. So I can identify with how you are feeling. I suppose the first step is in facing up to things😊.
Thank you😊. In the process of experiencing empty nest syndrome and have neglected myself for many years. So, yes I need to change my way of thinking and start thinking about 'me' x
