That's amazing - did you have to try and lose any weight before your surgery? I just mean that, the programmes I see on tv ( they are US shows) the dr says " you need to lose weight first etc" that must be terribly hard if so. I would go for a bypass tomorrow if I was offered one, and I if you ever get any negative comments about your decision, tell them to stuff it. There are so many of us out here, struggling to lose weight we've gained through food addiction family problems, ill health etc and for people to dismiss it and say like - huh go on a diet ! Is NOT the real answer.

I firmly believe gastric surgery is the way forward, and wish you quick recovery, and congratulations !
