New to this, just wanted to know if alcohol is a complete no no for the 12 weeks?

It isn't but I have given it up for the duration.
Nope, but its worth finding out the calories. I had half pints of cider at 100 cals each, and tried to avoid wine which I find very more-ish
Hi 🙋
I don't believe that alcohol is banned, just count the calories of each drink. However -in my opinion- those calories are wasted, as there is very little nutritional value to them.
Plus, if you have too many, you might just find yourself in the local kebab house.....and it probably won't be the salad you want!!!!
Everything in moderation....but alcohol really makes me hungry...my trigger to eat so I don't drink much at all now....is it your trigger to eat?
I usually "plan ahead" the alcohol and sweets I can have provided I stick to plan A... My favourite toffee is 58 kcal, and so is my small whisky that I allow myself "of an evening"
I found that the 'demon drink' (wine) would lead me to binge eat, so I've given it up for October and my willpower is so much stronger. Giving up booze also means there's no chocolate, crisps or other treats in the house, so the weight is falling fast. I'm so pleased with the results I'm considering carrying it into November.
