Well not much lost in two weeks - just 2 pounds but it's a start.

Below is Mr Boo who came out of the shrubbery decorated. So I entitle this,

"If you're goin' to San Francisco be sure to wear a flower in your hair!"

2 pounds well done! What a great dog, he looks so shamefaced. I wish I had a dog,but all the time I work full time, live in a first floor flat with a communal garden that isn't a possibility.

Love your dog!...a pound a week...is great...all in the right direction and it's not a race but a life change...are you enjoying the food?

I do enjoy eating and living on my own it is a part of the day to look forward to. I have been told not to go mad on dieting and starve myself or live solely on veg and fruit as although you lose weight fast and that would be great but you would probably give up fast too. So I will continue to plod along as I have started. Gone are the biscuits, chocolates and cakes and I am reducing the amount of bread I used to eat. Yesterday I bought a soup maker machine and am going to experiment with that. I am intending to buy a pair of trousers in the next size down and aim to wear them when I get there. I might buy them cheaply on EBay and then not feel bad passing them onto the charity shop if and when I move to the size below that. At the moment my present trousers are more comfortable than they have been for a while as they are not straining to keep the bulky me inside them. lol.

Sibyll, my tip would be to bye clothes you love wearing now! In four weeks time you'll need to buy something else you love...eBay them to recoup the pennies....we do need to feel sexy and gorgeous ....today...what do you think?...I hope you do feel sexy gorgeous!

There are no men in my life to notice me. (I have been married twice to 'wrong uns'. ) I now have only the spaniels who would not mind what I wore as long as I walked and fed them. It actually helps having this site and the messages to stop me feeling lonely.

Hi sibyll, my comment was for us .how we feel....inside ...I like to feel attractive when I dress.....should have said good...I just don't think we should wait to wear the clothes we want to wear. I think we should always wear the clothes that help us to feel how we want to feel. You're right sexy has implications...

I just like to look smart and for me I want to be comfortable. I suppose just to blend in with the crowd and not stand out for being fat is why I am doing this regime

I have butter aplenty just everywhere and tonight the wheels came off the wagon and I pigged out. Tomorrow I must try and be better I really hate being fat.
