My towel....

So I just came out the shower and noticed my towel seems bigger, it goes round me more!! Such a good feeling when you notice something yourself that boosts you to carry on. 2 stone 9 lost and my towel seems huge now :) What's everyone noticed that changes as they lose?x

That's great, it definitely is about the little changes :) for me, things like shoes and tights are fitting better, but basically everything's fitting better. I'll see how my towel feels after my bath later on :)

That's another thing actually, I got a lot more fresh air this summer than I usually do and caught the sun, properly kept a light tan all summer, when usually I'm a pasty pale person who hides indoors between midday and 3pm everyday, frightened of getting sunburn. Probably picked up a fair bit of vitamin D too :)

You'll be turning into a mushroom soon Ruth ;-)

Hi Lucca,

Just to clarify I pressed 'like' on that statement because it made me chuckle to remember your 'mushroom sunbathing picture' rather than any suggestion that I would find it amusing for Ruth to turn into a mushroom. ;-)

Lowcal :-)

:-D

Do you know I was in M&S today and they were actually selling 'Vitamin D Mushrooms' - apparently with all the daily allowance of vitamin D in them !!

(I didn't recognise them, so I don't think they were the ones from my garden)

They can't be as 'cool' as the ones from your garden - yours are definitely fashionistas! :-)

Don't tell them that - they'll be sashaying up and down the decking thinking they're at London Fashion Week. They are hard enough to keep under control as it is :-)

Don't worry, I won't breathe a word :-) Hopefully they're too busy sunbathing to be listening anyway! :-)

What a great thing to notice. In just three weeks, I'd say...everything ...but in small amounts. I feel so much healthier and in control. I have just got into a dress with the label still attached...yeah! And this is just after shedding eight pounds and loads of walking....

Oh lovely ! Towels feel so much better when they envelop you, rather than just about stretch to cover your modesty :-)

My belt is the thing I'm noticing at the moment. I can do it up two or three notches tighter now, and to be honest need a new one - and in fact probably a new pair of jeans so I don't need to keep them up with the belt ;-)

You'll be double-wrapped in a hand towel soon. Go you! :D

Hi Weedeepeachy,

Wow, that's a great weight loss - Congratulations on losing 2 stone 9 pounds. Yes, definitely good to notice the changes - like your towel being so much bigger.

I bought a new pair of size 14 jeans recently, and they were a 'slim fit' style, which has made me feel very happy! :-)

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Lowcal :-)

Yep I'm similar to most I suppose but I like that a coat I bought only a few months ago was too small to wear and now it's starting to sag at the front a bit :)

Congrats on that towel situation - or is this just an excuse to keep dropping your towel in front of people? ;)

I've only just signed up (so showering with small towels), but was inspired by your fantastic weight loss and looking forward to all the changes you are experiencing now.
