Am thinking of joining one of my local weight watching clubs, do you guys think this will help?
At the moment, I seem to have no self esteem....
Would joining a club boost this....

It might, but it depends on how YOU FEEL about it. Don't do anything that you're not 100% sure about. Take some time to think about it.
I think (and I'm no expert), that you need to look at your reasons for this decision.
Is it because you want the company of other people?
Is it because you want to lose weight and require physical accountability?
Is it because you feel hopeless and helpless and in a downward spiral of pain vs weightloss?
If it's either, or both of the first two, then a slimming club may be right for you. If it's the third, then you may need to seek the answer elsewhere, eg. a pain management clinic, or a counsellor.
I struggled with replying to your post, because as I've already said, I'm not an expert. However I do believe there's more to your question than meets the eye.
I hope that this has helped in some small way.
I wish you all the very best for the future.

Firstly hello....
And yes I would go to WW I am a member and find the advice really helpful, getting portion size right and just making sure I am making the right choices and being weighted each weeks keeps me on track..... And to be hits easy !!! Nice people to chat to and so on ....
Go even for a couple of weeks....it will do you good.
😀😜😛
Try it and see. Not a lot to lose and it might work well for you.
I didn't think I had much of a problem with self esteem even at my heaviest but what I can say is that as the weight dropped off my self esteem definitely got a lot better and 7 1/2 stone down my self esteem is at an all time high.
Hi Joe, I've noticed that you don't post much on the forum....do you reply? I would suggest you do this, just for two days...and see how people really support you in your journey. It sounds a bit simplistic....but it helps us all. as for WW...why not? I say investigate all angles....
Groups can be really helpful but I would recommend Slimming World over Weight Watchers as it teaches you much more about healthy eating for life, with WW I found I would eat really badly sometimes and as long as you stay within your points it feels OK
I am a fan of ANY tool which helps you on your journey.
grab hold of anything that you think can work for you and try it. The key is not to just give up if something doesn't work but to promise yourself you will try it for 3 weeks and it doesn't work then decide what to try next.
GL with it.
