I have finally got past my 10 and a half stone barrier. Granted it is only 1lb and it has taken me months but things are finally moving in the right direction!
Not sure exactly sure what got things moving, I have upped my protein intake and started eating dairy again.
Increased my exercise levels, now doing three 5k runs a week on the C25k plan.
But also I have relaxed and I have no 'banned' foods. Just everything in moderation and trying to stay balanced.
Well done Eatwell!! I would love to take my own weight down by a pound to break my 10 stone barrier. I decided yesterday to relax a bit and have no banned food. I have felt better on less carbs but realised that once a week maybe I should have a 'day off' and treat myself to toast or potatoes. That way I don't feel so deprived - which is always my dieting downfall in the end. Good luck with your weight loss adventure!!
1lb loss is no mean feat. You have worked hard to achieve it, and if you keep that rate of exercise up you'll keep it off and hopefully keep losing more. I think you do have to just change things around a bit to see what works. As someone who's stayed the same this week, I absolutely applaud you for that 1lb loss. There are no barriers, just patient waits until you see the next number on the scales. Good luck for the next lb!
