IM 27 year old female and have just come across this website. I have been following slimming world for 2 years and lost 3 stone and I love it. However I'm come to a bit of a stand still...partly due to lack of motivation.
Does anyone have any tips on how to get motivated again?
Is anyone on a different "diet" that is working for them?
I also want to get some exercise into my life but want to start easy at home or in the local park defiantly not at a gym tho.
Any help and ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mandy

Hi Mandy,
I'm starting the Couch to 5k program this week. I have done some running (well, plodding really) in the past, but I'm hoping that something structured might help keep up the motivation
Well done on that weight loss so far though - sounds like you've done brilliantly so far
I reckon that the C25K will help a lot - gives you the weekly targets to aim for with the runs. I downloaded the app onto my phone, and it's really useful when you are doing the runs to get the timings right (plus you can listen to your own music in the background).
There is also a C25k forum here as well.
I'm following the NHS 12 week plan - really just tracking my calories on myfitnesspal and keeping within a 1400 calorie limit. I've used Slimming World before, and found it does work in terms of weight loss. However, for me personally I find I focus too much on food (what I can and can't have) !!
I'm keeping to a fairly basic plan at the moment which I can replicate each day, without fussing too much about weighing, measuring and checking calories.
Yeah same here I'm constantly thinking about food and obsessing with what i can and can't eat!! Crazy!
Going to download myfitnesspal and them I'm more in control of calories and I can eat the same every day without getting bored so would be good idea to do that too.
