It's actually working !!

I have been doing the NHS weight loss plan for less than 5 weeks now, and i must say i didn't realise how easy it is to lose weight !! It may just be that the stars are aligned fro me, but oh my I'm so happy I'm doing this !!

I have lost 10.6 lbs in 4 weeks and 3 days !! I have been doing the couch to 5k plan alongside, but i rarely do any other exercise. Even with 10 lbs difference i can definitely feel it, i bought a load of new clothes, even though the changes may not be that visible i feel so much better. And actually I have lost 2 inches off my waist + 2 inches off my hips.

My goal is to lose around 100 lbs, and i feel like its possible. Im so happy that i am actually on my way to achieving this goal !!

I would strongly recommend the couch 2 5k programme to anyone who is skeptical, even though it is hard work and took me 4 weeks + 4 days to finish the first run of week 1...it still makes a difference because you're going out and doing exercise !

Well done. Congrats on your success!

It does work! You have a long journey if you want to lose 100lbs so take it easy, and keep celebrating each 10lbs perhaps? Keep going with the couch to 5k. It's better to take it slowly than to push yourself too much too soon and get an injury. Congrats on all those lbs and inches lost so far and enjoy your new clothes :)

I've got about 70pounds to burn off. How have your knees been with the couch to 5k?

No problems with knees, mainly calves. But it will be different with everyone. I recommend looking up proper running techniques to ensure no injuries or knee pain !!

What a fantastic outcome! How much have you learned? You are learning about nutrition and exercise - now what I've also learned is about persistent and self discipline. Week 9, and like you, surprised about how easy it is. Now I've got to turn it into a set of much better habits.

Well done, you have lost 10% of your goal weight that's brilliant.

I have found that it is important to take your measurements as these often show a loss where the scales don't.

I struggle with the exercise bit as my health doesn't always let me do it but, when I do it, even just a bit, I always feel much better.

Have a fantastic week and keep up the good work.

Not what you're looking for?
