Haven’t worked out in five months. Going to begin tomorrow morning by doing 15 min strength then 15 min cardio and in the afternoon a couch potato to 5k ( whatever it’s called). And I’m going on a dairy free plant based diet! I’m currently at 165 lbs and my goal is 115lbs! I’ll let you guys know how it goes

Working out again
Hello and welcome to the Weight Loss Forum Frsussed 😊
The first step is always the hardest, but please don’t overdue it. The Couch 25K (I don’t recall the word potatoe being there!!) is very good but might be a bit much on-top of the other exercise
Follow this link to our chat thread and a list of all the activities we run. We've found active participation to be key to success, especially with our weigh-ins and Daily Diary healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
If you haven’t already, then please read the Welcome post here which has lots of useful information about all the things we have on offer healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

Hey, thank you for your advice it is probably better If i just start off slow. I’m just really motivated to lose weight but I know I should take it slow or it won’t last ( and oops whenever I think of coach I think of potato lol )
You are not alone in being “enthusiastic for rapid weight loss” shall we say 😊. But trust me, it’s much easier to reduce your intake a few months down the line, than it is to under-eat at the start, muck up your hormone balance (commonly know as metabolism) and then try to claw your way back.
Have a good week, keep in touch!
