"A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit"

(This really strengthens my willpower more, so true.)

Hi Hannah

I don't think you should view it so much as a diet but a lifestyle choice of eating healthy nutritious food. I don't look on what I eat as a penalty; I make sure I only eat foods I love and never feel hungry but I only eat the foods my body really needs.

It's nice to hear stuff from another perspective, you're right yeah but I do still think it's a penalty that I can't devour pizza; but I know my body will thank me for it in time to come

See my other post about a healthy version of pizza.

It's tough but eventually you will come to only wanting the healthy food. The thought of something like a Dominos pizza these days turns my stomach and I used to love them.

Stick with it and you will grow to love healthy eating.

I think I remember reading it yeah! sounded hella interesting, I'll have to give it a go one of the days I feel like pizza

can you freeze them and reheat whenever?

Haha, can't imagine hating dominos D:

A diet is surely just the set of foods we're eating? Going on a diet often means we're changing what sorts of foods we're eating. A diet is the things you ARE having, not the things you aren't. Think about what you like most about the things you've denied yourself. If you miss a certain flavour of pizza, is there a way to recreate those flavours without the heavy base and cheese topping that makes it a less healthy choice? Maybe make pancakes with those fillings or add them to your salads. I think 'penalty' is a negative word, and it's more constructive to focus on what you ARE having. Like Alex7ra says, if you're only thinking about what you ARE having you may find you naturally gain a new perspective on the things you used to have before.

Oh hannahh I think a healthy eating plan is the reward we give ourselves after punishing our bodies with processed food + excessive fat & sugar. Try to think more positive and maybe it wont be so difficult, I hope so because it works for me. Good Luck.

Haha yeah i suppose, it's good for the body but not as much for my mind and eyes : (

But just think of the treat your eyes & mind will have when you start to shed weight & look slimmer, not to mention the confidence boost.
