I'm finally going to do do some insanity workouts.
I won't be following the full programme.
I plan for 5 workouts a week. Do some insanity DVD's and go running now my calves are feeling better!
That sounds pretty hardcore! What happened to your calves? Make sure you do all your stretches if you have problems with strained muscles/tight hamstrings etc, and take days off between if you need to. 5 workouts a week might be a bit full on straightaway? (I go running 2-3 times and cycling 1-2 times a week).
Shin splints! 😩 that was horrible but yes! I'll get on my stretches, I didn't actually do them.
I'm aiming for five but yes, that's a bit full on. That's my aim so we'll see how I do! X
Good to have a goal though! Stretching is crucial, as well as lots of water. I haven't had shin splints myself, but haven't heard good things about them, doing everything I can to avoid any sort of injury!
