use a calorie counting app like myfitnesspal or google it
I have a wee book called my pocket calorie counter but lots of folk use apps or Google .
I use health sidekick, you can build recipes and log them right into your food log from the recipe box, super easy") Excellent phone app as well
This app doesn't work
Go to there site healthsidekick.com and go into chat now, they can walk you through it. That's what I did") Really easy!
I look up the ingredients, check the cals forvthem and calculate it out for each item I use. A bit of a pain I know, but worth it.
Also, if you write it down you have it there for the next time you cook that meal x
Quickest way is just to google ... how many calories in ......
I didn't want to go putting info into apps and searching their way at the moment. It frustrated me with SW and other plans. Sticking with google at the moment and will probably go old school and get a book. Also when I found cals of something I eat regularly I put it in my food diary notebook so I can do a quick ref for myself.
Hi, quickest and easiest way is to use Cook & Count app, designed exactly for that purpose. It is NHS approved and works really well. cookandcount.com
myfitnesspal will help as will a lot of other apps/websites. In the final analysis as with everything else try google "carrots calories", "cabbage calories" etc.
