I am 22 and have been recovered from an eating disorder for around 4 years now. However, I think due to the craziness of COVID-19 I'm falling back into old, negative habits; nervous when eating food, measuring myself etc. Please is someone able to give me advice on how to be more relaxed around this time?
Also, this is my first time on this site so if this is a message that is not discussed on this site my apologies!
Best,
Ottilie

As IndigoBlue has said, we are a forum for weight loss, not medically trained and it’s hard to know what to say. Who has been supporting you over the past few years? Is it possible to get in contact with them and ask for help.
You have done incredibly well by the sounds of it over the past 4 years, it would be awful to undo the good you have done.
This is a very strange time in all our lives and you are not the only person returning to bad habits. Please don’t struggle alone, get in touch with your Doctor and ask for help before it gets worse.
Wishing you the strength to challenge those bad habits and all the best for the future. This time will not last for ever, things will improve 😀
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a well informed reply. I do as best I can to get all my vitamins and veg into my diet, and listen to my body. However, I deffo can improve so I'll look up intuitive eating, read more into it and do my best to work towards that way of living as it does work for me and allows some of those negative thoughts to be at bay. Thanks for reminding me of this!
I hope you too feel relaxed about the situation and how it influences the body. I hope you find solice in the fact you;ve helped me.
