Im 6-7 stone heavier than I should be and I need to do something about it. I have tried so many times and failed, thrown so much money at different eating plans but every time my will power lets me down. Would love some support and encouragement to really fight this. My little girl needs me to be around and healthy for her
Hi: Im 6-7 stone heavier than I should... - Weight Loss Support
Hi
Hi munchie99 and welcome. This is a great site for inspiration, advice and motivation. Most follow the NHS 12 week plan and do really well. I am doing my own thing at present as I have a lot to lose.
Personally I feel cutting down etc is the best way for me at the moment. I don't like the idea of cutting things out completely or replacing them with food that tastes like cardboard. I did that before and when I started eating properly again I realised how lovely real food was and I piled it all back on - plus about 4 more stone!
Try to make small changes you can maintain long term and hopefully before long the lbs will start to come off. Aim for a slow steady loss as most on here seem to agree that is the best way to hopefully keep it off.
Best of luck!
Thank you, that has often been my problem, I just like food and all the 'diets' I have tried seem to offer you boring bland cardboard and I get bored!! I hope things are working for you and you are working towards your target
Thanks munchies, I am making good progress averaging about 2lb a week, some weeks not as good as others but that is usually if I have gone away etc. I am almost at 2 stone and really not finding it too bad. My ultimate target is barely in sight but I just focus on half a stone at a time.
Good luck with your first weigh-in next week
throw money at the gym, and eat weetabix for breakfast! if you dont eat your body lacks energy, you dont have enough for exercise, and you store the energy you do have.
Search Is sugar toxic? Sugar or fat which is worse? Does fat make me fat?
Good luck and get reading.
Do you have netflix? watch the movie called 'Fed Up',
