Week 2 and another 1.6kg has gone!I am so pleased and I feel GOOD!
But tell me when are people going to start saying "Gee girl, you're getting slimmer!"? I've been practising my modest "thank you" and giving a charming smile in return, but have had no opportunity to use it yet.

Well done linggirl! I know what you mean about the compliments. I've lost over 20lbs and still none! Boo. I do have a lot to lose though so not expecting any yet really but it would be nice.
Keep doing what you are doing and I am sure the compliments will follow
I know just what you mean as no one has noticed my 10lb lost. The good thing is I must have been very good at concealing it as I knew how many spare tyres I had. Still a couple to get rid of!
I am not sure if many compliments will come. People may feel awkward about things like that: If they say you have lost weight, they may feel as if they say that you have been fat before. A compliment could be interpreted as patronizing. For reasons of political correctness, compliments have come so out of fashion! The same goes for pretty women: If they get paid a compliment, it is sexual harassment!
Keep it up, if you have a fair bit to lose, it doesn't seem obvious to others. You know so give yourself a large pat on the back! It will be seen by others and you will get the recognition you deserve 😀
