I'm in trouble as I have a cyst at the back of my knee. No more walkies for me now! I also got stuck in the back garden so had to climb on the wheelie bin, edge across the wall and then slide down. Next day I fell down the stairs. Gave in to wine and chocolates to cheer me up. That did not help my mood the next morning. Goodness knows what this all means for my weight loss. Yikes!

Sorry to hear you are having a rough time of it, they say things come in threes so hopefully the bad luck is over for you. Get back on track best you can. Have you spoken to your gp about the cyst? Hopefully they can help. Feel better
Doc says the cyst is called a "Baker's cyst". Nothing to do with the carrot cake I scoffed last week. It could go in a few months or not. All I can do is take painkillers and put an ice pk on it when it's really painful. Already had the 3rd lot of bad luck as dropped some very expensive medicine yesterday on the kitchen floor and had to throw it away. Have a good week as I don't think I'll be having one. Will settle for a draw!
Oh dear, poor you Hopefully you're past the worst of it. Just focus on getting your leg better and don't nibble too much in the meantime Hope things pick up for you
Thank you. I've told myself I mustn't give up as I feel so much better losing that 8lbs.
Oh poor you what a week, my daughter had a bakers cyst and I remember her telling me how painful it was so all my best wishes for a speedy recovery. I think we would all be tempted to comfort eat under such circumstances, hope you manage to keep on track and remember...things can only get better. Best Wishes.
Are you sure you hadn't drunk the wine BEFORE you fell down the stairs and climbed around your garden? Joking aside i do hope you have a better week this week.
I'm sorry to hear about this, I'm sure you'll deal with these obstacles and keep on track. You'll have to reduce a bit your calorie intake if you can't exercise for a while. You can still lose weight, but make sure you don't have chocolate around! Hope it gets better!
What a weekend you have had, I'm not surprised it's affected your mood & tempted to reach for the wine & chocolate. I know it's difficult try & put a line under it and get back to the healthy eating. I have not been very mobile over the last six months due to cellulitis in my leg(I have lympedema) which means the leg takes a long time to recover following cellulitis. Since I decided to get back in control of my eating I have spent the time I have had planning what I am going to eat, religiously putting into my fitness pal & reading other people's posts. I'm not saying every day is perfect but I am happy with what I am currently achieving. I hope you are feeling better soon. Take care.
Oh no eeek! What a nightmare! Are you OK? Shame about the walking, are you able to cycle? Hopefully it can be treated for you! Don't worry about the chocolate and wine, no point beating yourself up over it and I'm sure one night won't change much! Start again from today😊sending you hugs 🌸
The pain is just behind the kneecap so cycling is out. I've got balance problems anyway so would end up on the floor. Thank you for the hugs... sending them back. x
Aww u poor thing, I really empathise with knee pain since I ruptured my acl last October and had it operated on a few weeks ago. Not experienced anything like it! Get those frozen peas on it and put your feet up hun!
At least you can still control what you eat even if you can't do your walking!
I'd advise to stay away from stairs and locking yourself in back gardens for at least the rest of the week though😉 🌸
So sorry to hear about your cyst, eeek. Wish you a speedy recovery. I know how easy it is to go back to our old habits (happened to me just the other day) and once we've had that chocolate or the wine, we think that's the end of the world...well, it isn't. Remember, every little helps. So be positive, cut back a little on your calories and count all the work you do around the house as exercise until you can go for walks again. All the best!
