Don't let it get you down, lawless. Try and be more active today...go for a walk or a run and maybe you could have some soup for dinner to make up for having that Mac. We are bound to have days where one meal goes out of hand...the trick is to learn to cope with that and not give up hope and get derailed from the journey we have started. Cheer up and good luck!

Don't beat yourself up lawless, it could have been worse, you can still remain within your calorie allowance for the day! As 1308 said, go for a walk or any kind of exercise and you will feel much better. It isn't the end of the world, learn from it and get back on track from now 😊 best wishes 🌸

It's only one McDonalds :-) If we are really making changes for life here then we have to allow ourselves the occasional treat or we will never stay the course. Just learn from it - think about why you wanted it, why you went for it, how it felt to eat it and how it felt afterwards. You may not want the next one quite so much if you focus on your feelings about it :-)

Hi stop the cycle. Be your own best friend. What would your best friend do? Would they be angry with you. Figure out why you ate a MacDonald and go from there.

This is NOTHING to worry about! Just write down the date you had a treat and try to limit them as much as you can. Life is for living and you had Mc Ds big deal! It's going to take a hell of a lot more to affect your long term goal so relax and continue with your plan.x

Hi everyone thanks for the support and advice. I weigh in tomorrow. It was comfort food as my son was playing up out in public. Have to learn to cope better

Sometimes things like this will happen. Just drink a lot of water and go for a long walk after overeating, it will help.
