I have only been doing NHS 12 week weight loss programme for 4 days so far!
On the first day I started I logged my weight down (as shown on the scales) and BMI as I was told this by the hospital that day as I suffer from PCOS. I didn't however measure any part of my body with a tape measure.
Is this an important factor to do when loosing weight or does looking at weight loss on the scales have the same effect?

Its not something you have to do, but i along with many others have found that by doing the measurements, even on weeks where the scales dont move your measurements may have gone down. Its a great visual aid, why not write them all down then re-check them every couple of weeks, you will be amazed at how the sizes go down. Good luck and all the best with the plan
